Meet Rachel

Before becoming a Red Cross Certified Instructor, Rachel worked as a Wellness Director for more than 10 years, teaching employees and residents to be active and healthy by teaching them how to meditate, stretch their bodies through Yoga and several water-related activities such as water aerobics.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, from Brigham Young University - Hawaii. She is a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certified by the American Red Cross, which recognize her ability to teach the following:

  • Higher-level swim skills that help prepare people of all ages for any aquatic activity.
  • Stroke mechanics for all competitive strokes as well as starts, turns and headfirst entries.
  • Water safety certification courses, including Safety Training for Swim Coaches and Basic Water Rescue.
  • Fundamentals of diving from a diving board.
  • Aquatic fitness and training for people of any age.

Rachel is also a Certified Pool and Spa Operator (CPO) by the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
